Wally's Spray On Frost Protection 500ml
Wallys Spray on Frost Protection is fast acting and if applied the day before a heavy frost It will be doing its job; with frosts down to minus 8 and even as cold as minus 18. The first spray you do at 50 mils per litre of water to give good coverage over the plants you wish to protect. Then one month later another maintenance spray at 25 mils per litre. You continue doing a monthly spray till end of frost season. The product has Pseudomonas fluorescens which have been found to significantly reduce frost damage in crops. Research conducted in Australia and worldwide has reported up to an 99% reduction in frost damage at temperatures as low as -15°C. This significant reduction in frost damage has led to reported increases in yield ranging from 25-100% for numerous crops across many regions.The product gives full protection within 24 hours of application where our other product Vaporgard takes up to 3 days for the protection to start. Vaporgard fails to protect against several frosts in a row night after night and frost cloth needs to be added to give better protection.Wallys spray on Frost Protection gives full protection up to one month before a further application is needed.

Wally's Liquid Copper 250gm
Wallys Liquid Copper is a tribasic copper sulphate in the form of a suspension concentrate in a liquid form which is more convenient than having to mix a copper powder with water The product is compatible with most garden sprays but don’t mix with lime sulphur or Surrender. It is also best not to mix any copper with any spraying oils including Neem Tree Oil as oil tends to reduce the effectiveness of any copper spray. Oils are used for smothering scale, mites and thrips and if any of these are present then it is better to do a separate spray for them. The commercial brand name of this product (Tribase Blue NuFarm) is registered for the following plants diseases: Anthracnose, Ascochyta Blight, Angular Leaf Spot, The following Blights: Common, Early, Late, Halo, Bacterial, Spur and Fireblight. Downy Mildew, Brown Spot, Brown Rot, Leaf Curl, Shot Hole, Bladder Plum, Bacterial Blast, Black Spot, Grease Spot, Septoria Spot, Bacterial Leaf Spot, Rust, Crown Rot, Bacterial Canker, Stemphlium, Bacterial Brown Spot, Melanose, leaf Spot, Cane Spot and Cane Wilt. Effects on soil fertility.Physically, they promote good soil structure and increase the water holding capacity of the soil.Biologically, they affect the activities of microorganisms.Chemically, they serve as an adsorption and retention complex for inorganic plant nutrients.Nutritionally, they are sources of nitrogen, phosphorus, and sulphur for plants and microorganisms. This humate rich material sourced from within New Zealand is extracted from the rider seam at the New Vale coal mine. For years locals have accessed this seam.Humate materials are widely distributed organic carbon containing compounds found in soils, fresh water, and oceans. These substances are formed from the biological and chemical breakdown of animal and plant life, and make up approximately 75 percent of the organic matter that exists in most mineral soils. Humates play a direct role in determining the production potential of a soil.In soils void of significant quantities of clay minerals and organic matter, the addition of humates can have an impact on soil fertility which may be noticeable in the form of improved plant growth. Humates provide a full spectrum of organic acids including humic and fulvic acids, which are essential for plant development.These act as organic chelator which enhance the uptake and utilisation of plant nutrients in fertilisers. The cation exchange capacity of the soil increases improving the transfer of nutrients through cell membranes of plant root material. Many university studies have confirmed the benefits of Humates for agriculture: We strongly recommend Humates as the perfect soil conditioner and accompaniment to fertiliser whether you use the natural form, pellets, powder or liquid. However, there may be occasions when you feel that humic or fulvic by themselves are more suitable and so we also provide these products. The use of fulvic in foliar fertiliser sprays would be a good example.
