Phyllocladus alpinus, commonly know as Celery Pine, a hardy New Zealand native alpine tree with distinctive flattened branchlets and a compact growth habit. It is well suited to alpine gardens, native landscapes, and restoration planting. Slow growing and extremely hardy, it performs well in full sun to partial shade.

Sizing Guide

    Our plants are sold in packs, and the bigger the pack, the better the price per plant. Every plant is outdoor grown in South Canterbury's tough conditions, so it arrives hardy and ready to go in the ground. Plant heights vary with the season and species.
    Wholesale Grade = 7cm pot, approx 300mL. Industry known as GOL (Growing on Line), or Liner. Smallest grade we offer, suited for potting up and growing on. Can be planted out directly under the right conditions with a plant guard.
    Landscape Grade = 9cm Pot, approx 500mL. Industry known a Revegetation Grade. Most popular grade we offer, plant is suitable size to plant out directly.
    Large Grade = Approx 3L Pot. Common size at Garden Centres. A large root system and bigger plant. Ideal if wanting a hedge faster, these plants are already 1-2 years of growth. 

    Garden products come in a range of sizes. Smaller sizes suit trying a product or treating a few plants, while larger sizes are better value for big gardens, lifestyle blocks and regular use.
