My wife and right hand. Keeps the brakes on and tries to stop me doing anything too silly.

Scott

Scott is our only Full Timer. Scott gained his experience of plants through a work trust specializing in Horticulture. Scott takes on many of the responsibilities associated with the day to day running of the Nursery.

Dispatch is important and this is Scotts first priority each day.

Nursery maintenance, pricking out and propagation are his other work areas.

Robert

Robert is  one of our  formally trained Horticulturist. He has worked in Botanical Gardens in various parts of the World but started out at the Botanical Gardens in Christchurch under Lawrie Metcalf . Robert has now reached retirement age but he does a few hours each week and does plant propagation at home under contract for us.

Rosey

Rosey turns her hand to most things. Dispatch, and Plant Propagation, Potting on and Pricking out are her main duties. Roseyhas played a fundamental part in our ‘Minimal Spray’ program.
