Podocarpus totara laeatus. Halls Totara
Also known as Hall’s Totara. A broad, conical native conifer that is hardy and evergreen. Needles are sharply pointed but stiffer and larger than that of P. totara. They are usually found growing at higher altitudes. Excellent for planting out to form a dense hedge or screen and responds well to being clipped.
Slow growing and may get to about 5m or 6m in 10 years
These plants are extremely healthy, Out door grown in South Canterbury’s harsh conditions. Grown in Pots 85mm x 85mm x 90mm.
