A rounded small tree or shrub with leathery yellowish-green wavy leaves with tormentum (dense covering of soft hairs) on the underside of the leaves.
It is found naturally along forest margins Widely grown as a hedge or shelter throughout New Zealand.
It has small abundant fragrant flowers in Autumn.
Tolerates coastal conditions as well as being frost hardy.
These plants were grown from Rakaia Gorge, renowned for it Cold winter conditions.
Out door grown in South Canterbury’s harsh conditions. Grown in Pots 85mm x 85mm x 90mm.
